What ‘Instant’ Sales Really Means

There’s just something about the thought of ‘instant’ sales. If we could all generate instant sales, all the time, there would be no need for a competitive marketplace. Companies could just hire one on-staff person out of the gate and staff that person 24/7 to generate sale after sale.

Job postings like this tell us a few fundamental things about the poster:

1. He/she doesn’t have an innate knowledge of the fact that PPC works on an algorithm, how it works and what/how long it really takes to generate a successful campaign.

2. If you work for this person, you’re not going to be around for very long. You’re probably going to be fired after a few weeks of not getting miracle conversions.

3. After you’re fired, your client is going to go through marketer after marketer until he/she realizes that Adwords is not the cure for cancer. At that point, s/he will be out a lot of money and patience and will never trust Adwords to work. That’s a bummer, because Adwords CAN work!

4. I’ll bet you that the person who posted this is a content or affiliate advertiser/a beginning advertiser who’s been kicked off Adwords, with a small budget.

Let’s take a look at who’s bidding on this:

All overseas folks – and only one US provider with not a lot of feedback.

Be careful out there, y’all!
